STELA SAVIN, MOLDOVA
Born and raised in Rome, the 5th member of the family of 7 children, Stela Savin soon dreamed of becoming a world boxing champion. In the tradition of the home country, women do not need to study hard, but most importantly find a suitable partner and soon get married and have children.
Stela is an exception when instead of following her family, she works hard to support her parents, in exchange, she always wants people to support her decision to pursue her passion. When interviewed by journalists, she boldly shared her feelings about her home country.
Accordingly, she fully respects the tradition of the place where she was born, but Stela completely disapproves of dropping out of school halfway and leisurely in family life. For her, women can do a lot of men’s work and sometimes do better than men.
